I am going to talk about the tango and foxtrot. I want to talk about these two because they are very similar in many ways. They are also very different in many ways. I choose these two because they are very easy and there are kind of fun. I really like the foxtrot because it is just simple walking. Also, you don't have to shake your buttons for the foxtrot.

For my essay, I wrote about the tango. I chose the first option, researching one dance. My favorite parts of the essay were when I discussed its original roots and mixtures, unexpected history, the mood, and my favorite steps. I chose the tango because I like how different it is. Usually, when you dance, people tell you to smile. But in this dance, you are supposed to keep a serious face. I also chose it because it has a very interesting history. It all started from a low-income neighborhood. Surprising, right? Especially because it is so popular today! I won't spoil the rest. I also thought the way we learned it was very creative, and I really wanted to share it in my essay. Although, we have to keep serious faces, it is a very fun dance. The tango is also a simple dance, which made it easy to describe.

My essay is about the Swing.i chose the first option. The reason i choose the swing is because of many reasons. One of the reasons i chose the swing is because it was made right here in Harlem,New York. Another reason i chose it is because the swings beat is fast and the dance is also fast and i like most fast music which includes the swings beat. In my essay i talked about a lot of stuff which include who made the swing and also who are great people at the swing that are famous.

I’m going to do the Merengue and the Tango. One thing I can compare is that in the Merengue, you do inside-outside circle, with the boys on the inside and the girls on the outside. In the Tango, you do “racetrack direction.” It’s when you go diagonally, like a racetrack. Another thing I noticed is the original Merengue has a faster tempo than the Tango. In the Merengue, you count your steps with numbers but in the Tango, instead we chant “T-A-N,G,O!” We haven’t finished the Tango yet, although I can see the difference between it and the Merengue.

For my ballroom essay, I talked about the waltz and some of it's facts. I included sections for each individual topic. For example, I wrote the history stuff in the subtopic "History", and the type of clothing the two dancers wear in the subtopic "Clothing". I also included my favorite dance move, which is like my opinion. I chose to write my essay in a fun type of way, where I interact with the reader, mainly because I like to make the reader laugh while reading.

For my ballroom dancing essay, I compared and contrasted the merengue and the rumba in a four paragraph essay. I thought these dances were very interesting, and it would be cool to know some similarities and differences, between the two dances. My opinion on the merengue is that it's a super cool dance with super cool music! Well, for the rumba, it's the same. but I like how this dance includes box steps. That concludes my compare and contrast essay on the merengue and the rumba for ballroom dancing.

I wrote about the merengue in my ballroom essay. As you know, the merengue is the national dance of the Dominican Republic. It was first mentioned in the middle of the 19's. There are three types of music for it too. I chose this because I just chose it by random.

I picked the swing for my essay. I chose the swing because it has the most movements and it's the most fun one to do. The swing is still popular today. Everyone likes dancing it from adults to kids. The steps are fun and you can use any song to dance it. You can even wear anything you want to dance the swing.

For my ballroom essay, I discussed the Swing. The reason why I chose this dance because it is upbeat, fun, and puts a smile on your face. The attir that is worn for Swing dancing is not fancy. You can wear whatever you want. This style of dance was created by Dean Collins. The Swing is still a popular dance that you can enjoy dancing to.

I chose the comparison essay of the Foxtrot and the swing. I wrote that they both have the style of slow, slow, quick, quick and repeat. I wrote that they were different because the foxtrot music is slow and the swing music is quick. I chose the foxtrot and the swing because they are both very different from each other and they are both still similar.

So I did my essay on the swing, it is a fun dance and it is the most interesting dance in my opinion. I discussed how the swing has no creater and is still building also about its history and beat and every thing that was assigned. I feel like the fast high energy dances are my favorite and the swing is just like that so that is why I chose it. In my opinion the swing is the best dance we have learned yet.
