The ELA State Assessment is quickly approaching, and nerves are starting to show! What are three bits of advice that you want to share with the class to help them feel more at ease?

Last week, we talked about if we had the choice, what we would want to learn about in class. I LOVED all of your responses and...well, I want to continue that thought. What else would we want to study or investigate into if we had the chance? Maybe someone else's interest sparked an idea for you!
Maybe study or research something specific? Maybe try a special art activity? What about something where we need to work in groups or partnerships? In 2 paragraphs explain what you would like to do in class, why would you like to do it (the importance to you), and what the impact would be on your classmates or the school (how does everyone benefit from your idea). Be sure to include how it can relate to what we're learning, our everyday lives, or our future lives. Who knows, your idea might be something we do! Please remember to follow the rubric for blog posts (this also includes responding to a classmate's response as well). Remember that a sentence response for a paragraph will not be counted! Time is running out! There's only a few BUSY months left of 5th grade at PS 18!

What do you do to relax? When you're stressed out, over-worked, and just need a break...what is it that you do to calm down to get your mind back to Earth?
Give us some (no less than 5) strategies to maybe try to help us be calm! |
